About the event

Just Because We Want To

Nature Walk

About this event

We’re going for a walk just because we want to, and you can come with us.

This beginner-friendly nature walk is a low-pressure way to get outside, slow down, and notice the tiny worlds hiding in plain sight. We’ll spend time at Hendrie Valley looking closely at the small details most people walk past, from tree bark and leaves to insects, soil, roots, and little pockets of habitat.

You do not need to know anything about nature to join. This walk is for young people ages 18–23 who want to get outside, meet people, and reconnect with the simple joy of being in nature.
