TOGETHER IS ALWAYS BETTER
A Promise in Action. A Home Rebuilt Together.
Their Freedom is in Our Hands.

Building a Home Together

Gibbons don’t need sympathy.
They need sanctuary.

And sanctuary doesn’t come from words.
It comes from people who show up (again and again and again) to restore what exploitation broke.

That’s what Gibbon Guardians is about.

A global circle of guardians turning a promise into action — tree by tree, hectare by hectare, heart by heart.

What Does It Take to Give a Gibbon Family a Home?

Gibbons are territorial primates. A single family — parents and their young — needs ~20 hectares of intact rainforest to thrive.

That’s 20,000 native trees. Carefully planted.

Maintained over years.

One tree costs $5 to plant and care for, including maintenance and monitoring.

One person giving $25/month plants 42 trees a year — adding up to real, rooted change.

Over 5 years, 1 Champion
helps replant nearly ⅓ of a hectare of rainforest — a lasting legacy.

It takes just 477 monthly donors to plant 20,000 trees, enough to restore one gibbon family’s home.

It takes a village to rebuild a forest

and we’re building one together, tree by tree.

This Is the Gift of the Guardian

You might only plant a few dozen trees each year.
But each one is part of a bigger promise to restore not just land, but life.

When you give monthly, you’re not giving to a symbol.
You’re becoming part of a living, growing, global effort to restore real forest and support trusted gibbon sanctuaries.

We’ll be honest: you won’t see a photo of a gibbon holding your name on a sign.

But your gift will be working — quietly, powerfully — to grow a forest for their song. It will fund restoration, education, and real support to our trusted sanctuary partners in Southeast Asia.

This isn’t a gesture. It’s a commitment.
And it’s how we keep our promise — together.

Why You Can’t
"Adopt a Gibbon" With Us

You may have seen other organizations offering symbolic adoptions of wild animals, but we do things differently.

Here’s why:

1. We do not work directly with live animals.

Our programs focus on forest restoration, community-based conservation, and noninvasive research. Gibbons remain wild — and we intend to keep it that way.

2. Wild animals are not pets.

Even symbolic “adoption” programs can subtly reinforce the idea that wild beings are objects to be owned or named. We don’t support that, not even in metaphor.

3. This is not about ownership. It’s about guardianship.

When you join Gibbon Guardians, you’re not “adopting” an animal. You’re helping restore their rightful home, support ethical sanctuary partners, and protect the forest they need to survive.

We don’t give you a gibbon.

We give you the chance to protect their world with integrity.

Transparency matters. So does trust. Every dollar is treated like it matters — because it does. When you give to Gibbon Guardians, your contribution doesn’t vanish into overhead or branding campaigns.
