PowerSeekers

PARTICIPATION PORTAL
Step into how we learn, grow, and restore together, and discover where you fit into our story.

Our Community Learning Framework

Being a PowerSeeker isn’t about sitting through lectures or ticking boxes. It’s about stepping into who you are, what you care about, and taking action to help restore balance in a world that needs it.

Every PowerSeeker journey begins with our Community Learning Framework — a three-component curriculum designed to build your confidence, grow your skills, and focus your impact. Through activities that blend learning, reflection, real-world action, and community, you’ll grow personally and make an impact globally.

The Roots of Our Approach

Everything we do is grounded in one simple truth:

all of life is connected.

Our learning framework is built on this understanding. From the soil beneath our feet to the people beside us, healing our relationships with the planet means rebalancing the systems that sustain us — and remembering our place within them.

We centre our work on six essential pillars of a thriving world: humans, soil, trees, climate, water, and animals — each one needing balance, care, and respect.

We focus on 4 themes of harmony:

PE Themes

This framework shapes every activity, reflection, and action our members take.
But no one changes the world alone. That’s why we help each person start with themselves — their strengths, their passions, their truth, and build outward into community, collaboration, and impact.

The full framework is part of our members-only experience,

but here’s a quick look of how it comes to life through the activities we offer.

Our curriculum includes three components:

Building A Foundation

We delve into 5 key areas of personal growth—mental, social, spiritual, emotional, and physical—laying the foundation for essential habits and skills that build confidence and integrity.
14.png

Finding Your Place

We deep dive into personal passion, where participants cultivate the tools needed to make informed choices and identify where they want to make a lasting impact.
15.png

Making An Impact!

We provide the structure for participants to turn their passion into meaningful actions, engaging in "PowerShifts" that make a tangible difference on a local and global scale.

Everything is Connected,
So Everything We Do Is Connected

How Our Activities Work

Our community is rooted in personal growth, shared purpose, and a deep belief that everyone has a role in restoring balance to the world.

Our activities are layered, connected, and designed for holistic development. We offer a wide range of experiences to meet you where you are, but they aren’t random. There’s a flexible structure with clear starting points, core milestones, and chances to go deeper as you grow.

You don’t have to do everything, but to get the most out of this journey, there are key actions and reflections that help connect the dots and unlock deeper meaning.

What matters is that you show up with heart, move at your own pace, and stay grounded in your “why.”

Learn & Reflect with our Building Blocks

Our Building Blocks are where it all starts. they're designed to help you think critically, feel deeply, and cultivate a clear understanding of how human choices and planetary outcomes are interconnected.

Each Building Block includes themed lessons, week-long practices, and ongoing reflections. You can move through them at your own pace, go solo or with a mentor-led group, unlocking new insights and transformation with every step.

Growth unfolds in two stages, with Seed Badges celebrating each step forward.

  • Stage 1: Self Growth
Learn to know yourself, care for your well-being, develop your strengths, and find your voice.

  • Stage 2: Self in Society
Learn how the world works — ecosystems, equity, systems change — and how to make a difference through meaningful action.

Personal growth is vital, but global change doesn’t happen in isolation. That’s where PowerShifts come in: hands-on, purpose-led initiatives created and led by members like you.

Whether it's hosting a clothing swap, leading a nature walk, starting an art project, or organizing a cleanup, every PowerShift creates ripples of meaningful impact.

Action Badges celebrate your achievements as you build momentum for change.

The PowerShift Formula: Where Local Impact Leads to Global Change

This is where we shift the world. Where impact becomes real. Where we take back control and build a better world, together.

Each PowerShift is guided by a simple structure:

Community Powered Effort

fuelled by shared commitment and collaboration to positive change.

PP (2).png

Supported by Mentors

with tools, templates, and guidance to help your ideas come to life.

Celebrated by Community

equity, collaboration, and deep listening.

From quiet acts of awareness to bold campaigns for change, PowerShifts bring our values to life and keep our collective momentum going.

Local Action Crews:
Grassroots Change-makers

No matter where you are, you can lead or join a Local Action Crew — a grassroots team of PowerSeekers members creating positive change right in their own community.

These crews design and carry out PowerShift Impact Initiatives with mentor guidance using our action templates, from habitat enhancements to climate awareness campaigns, community art projects, invasive species removal, and more.

Local Action Crews:

  • Organize and Run Activities aligned with PowerSeeker’s values and following our guiding action templates.

  • Receive Mentor Support to build confidence and grow impact, ensuring their ideas come to life to make a positive impact.

  • Connect Through Our Community Hub for member support and shared opportunities.

These are the neighbourhood branches of our global movement — turning individual passion into collective power and weaving a global tapestry of local impact.

Restoration Crews: Grounded in Place

In some of the planet’s most biodiverse — and threatened — ecosystems, our Restoration Crews are turning knowledge into action.

These staff-led, location-based ground crews are part of our larger global restoration movement. They identify critical habitat, work with local and Indigenous partners to secure and steward land, and design seasonal action series that allow members to connect, restore, and grow in hands-on restoration events.

Together, we focus on:

  • Forest and Woody Plant Ecosystems to help forests thrive, stabilize the climate, and support wildlife habitat.

  • Urban Greenspace Expansion to bring nature back into our communities and make cities healthier, more vibrant places to live.

  • Wildlife Monitoring and Habitat Enhancement to increase local biodiversity and track the return of native species.

  • Supporting Ecosystem Engineers to help nature heal itself by restoring the keystone species that shape entire ecosystems.

Our flagship crew, the Carolinian Restoration Crew, is based near The Spark. As we grow, six global restoration crews will emerge — each supporting regional ecosystems and offering members nearby a direct way to live out what they’ve learned through the curriculum.

Campaign Crew:
Advocacy in Action

Our Campaign Crew is where systems thinking meets youth-powered action. This team leads PowerSeekers' advocacy efforts and helps create the tools, context, and momentum to take a stand and speak up for what matters. Members are invited to sign up and contribute, helping shape campaign direction, co-create materials, or amplify what’s already in motion.

Our Campaign Crew:

  • Develop and Maintain our six central advocacy campaigns based on our six core pillars of a thriving world.

  • Design toolkits, templates, and educational content to support member action.

  • Partner with Organizations to lead projects that enact change — like our current Primate Protectors citizen social science campaign collecting social media data to push for systems-level change.

Whether you're lending your voice, your creativity, or your lived experience, there’s a way for you to plug in and help make systems change possible.

PS Symbol (gradiant).png

You don’t need to be perfect to be a part of the action.

You just need to care.

Whether you're here to build skills, make friends, speak out, or dig in — this is your space to grow and create change.

This is how we build a better world: together.
