Gibbon Guardians

Virtual Visits with Dr. Jackie
Bring the rainforest to your classroom, and
meet the expert who started it all.

This Is Where The Fun Begins

Our Virtual Visits are live, story-driven sessions with Dr. Jackie, our Chief Scientist gibbon researcher and our Executive Director.

These visits offer high school classes and youth groups a rare opportunity to connect directly with someone who has lived and worked in the forests of Southeast Asia, alongside the small apes we’re fighting to protect.

Real Stories. Real Wisdom.
Real Impact.

Virtual Visits with Dr. Jackie are designed to ignite curiosity, spark compassion, and inspire action.

Each visit is packed with firsthand stories from the forest, field-based insights about gibbons, and heartfelt lessons about perseverance, purpose, and protecting what matters.

More than just a science presentation, it’s a motivational and soulful encounter that helps students see their own potential to create change — for the planet and for themselves.

Tailored to Inspire — and Aligned to Curriculum

No matter where you teach, we’ve got you covered.

Each Virtual Visit is designed to meet the needs of educators — with several presentation options tailored to grades 9–12 curriculum in science, social science, and career studies.

Originally built to align with Canadian academic and applied-level courses, these presentations also resonate with English-speaking classrooms and youth groups around the world.

You’ll receive everything you need to prepare your students ahead of time — including classroom activities, independent assignments, and real footage of gibbons in the wild to spark curiosity before the live session.
