How Our Team Works

Technical

Prime Earth is a small, collaborative team made up of both staff and volunteers working side by side.

Everyone on the team holds a defined role and contributes to the real work of running the organization—programs, communications, operations, and everything in between.

We work closely together. You won’t be left on your own, we provide guidance, feedback, and support so you can grow into your role and do it well. At the same time, we expect team members to take ownership of their responsibilities, communicate clearly, and follow through on what they commit to.

If you’re someone who wants to contribute, learn, and be part of a team that’s actively building something, you’ll do well here.

Commitment & Expectations

Being part of Prime Earth means showing up consistently and contributing to something that’s actively being built.

Each role comes with its own responsibilities and time commitment, but as a general guide:

  • You are expected to contribute on a consistent weekly basis

  • You communicate openly and keep others informed of your progress

  • You follow through on what you take on

  • You’re willing to ask questions, learn, and adapt as we grow

This isn’t a one-time or drop-in experience.

It’s a chance to take on a real role and be part of a team working toward something meaningful.

Who This Is For

Working at Prime Earth is a strong fit if you:

  • want to use your skills in a real, structured way

  • are ready to commit to a role and follow through

  • enjoy being part of a small, collaborative team

If you’re looking for something casual, short-term, or highly directed step-by-step work, this likely won’t be the right fit—and that’s okay.
