Working to make the planet a better place can take a toll on our mental and emotional health. The human brain naturally focuses on negativity so it can avoid danger. But too much negativity will overwhelm our systems! By practicing gratitude, you can train your brain to see the positive possibilities of situations and redirect your attention to hope and positive action during stressful times, helping to build the emotional and mental resilience you need to create sustainable change. This building block explores how we perceive the world around us, walking you through the best ways to create space within your day to build gratitude and resilience into your life, allowing you to take on the issues you care about most in this world to make a positive, impactful change!
