1. Tap the three-dot icon located on the top right corner of the post you want to report (or on the bottom right if you're watching a Reels video).
2. Tap 'Report' (it usually appears in red letters).
3. Tap 'Violence or dangerous organizations'.
4. Tap 'Animal abuse'.
5. Tap 'Submit report'.
6. Tap 'Next'.

You can decide if you want to either 'block' or 'restrict' the account that posted that content. In case you don't, just slide the 'Support Actions' tab down.

In a couple of days, Instagram will send you a notification letting you know the updates on your report. Sometimes the message says that they have been unable to review the post due to the high volume of reports. In that case, you can also click on 'See support options' and then click on 'Asking for a revision'
